I phoned my GP several times but could not get through(West Kilbride)I had a dog bite to my hand. Quite severe but not an emergency. I then called 111. After about 10 minutes I got an answer. I was told to go to my local hospital which is Crosshouse. There were 14 ambulances waiting outside when I arrived so I expected to wait for a long time. I would say that I spent about a total of 1 hour by the time I arrived until the time that I left. This was including an X-ray and results. I cannot praise the staff enough as the treatment was excellent.
