The team are always on hand and quick to remind both of us how they are there for anything additionally needed. There have been some frustrations with communication but I do feel listened to and as we continue to work together it has got much better.

I would only say one thing that may have helped my child to settle into the service more and ease anxiety would have been if staff members weren’t on leave for my child’s start with the service. I know this is difficult to avoid so isn’t a complaint as such but this is improving again with time going by.

Lexi has been admitted for treatment of OCD and anxiety and seemed for the first few days that she was treated for an eating disorder. There have been a couple of standout staff members that have got to know lexi well.

I feel the communication in relation to visiting, eating and also the type of phone allowed could have been handled vastly better, ideally by providing the information to the parents prior to admission as it caused upset for both Lexi and Mum and Dad.

My daughter has been helped in a way that wouldn't have been possible without a team working together on her eating disorder& her mental health issues and the complex management of both being simultaneously monitored and we as parents wouldn't have had the support to help her achieve everything she has so far without this team.
