Pt's daughter gave feedback 'Valentina was amazing, lovely, the way she worked was impressive. She explained everything to my father and me, and did a lot liaising with the doctor and the hospital. She was concerned his obs were so bad so arranged transport for a few hour later so he could be transported to hospital. We would like to thank her', he's doing much better now.'

We are not sure about the quality of the follow up from the paramedics. When the paramedics arrived a few hours later they said his obs were fine so refused to take him. He did look a lot better, but the next day he deteriorated and was rushed to hospital. We wondered if they should have liaised with her before making that decision as she had given him such a thorough examination and had decided he needed admitting. They were also going to attempt to bum shuffle him down the stairs but Valentina had noticed that he had one leg shorter than the other so my brother didn't let them do this and they agreed to take him in a chair in the end.
