I was extremely happy to be referred to this department as i was unaware that this service was provided. I had been suffering for over 7 months with my throat and voice. I could not eat solids as i would choke, the coughing was uncontrollable. It was dangerous to eat and dangerous to drive and i was unable to sleep or do my job that i have been in for 23 years and became depressed. Thankfully i was referred to this valuable service which was able to help me to live a normal life again. This is a remarkable service!! Thank you NHS!!!

Suggested improvements
Make this service more accessible, fortunately i had support with my depression and also had a very understanding employer otherwise this could have gone so horribly wrong.

Thank you for your feedback , we try to triage referral to reduced waiting times but I am afraid since Covid the waiting times for Voice in particular have been longer than usual.
