I have been trying to get support for my daughter who is apparently a patient under CAMHS but has not been seen or spoken to since April 2022. She has been and remains in desperate need of some support. She is unable to sleep, eat, go to school so yes her depression is affecting all of her daily living. I managed to get to see a mental health nurse at my GP surgery who prescribed her antidepressants. we need some support and I really needed some help with her absence from school. I can never get an answer when I ring so the nurse told me to use the live chat to talk to you. I tried this and have just been left staring at a chat box for 45 minutes, waiting to be accepted and even though I was apparently number 1 in the queue i never actually got accepted to talk to anybody.
