Every member of this team gave absolutely excellent service including the people our son spoke to on the phone when he was suicidal and the nurses who came in each day. They dealt with us as a family professionally and supportively in a very difficult time. We couldn’t have got through this experience without them. We were very impressed with the speed of seeing the psychiatrist and this was crucial in getting our son on to new medication to stabilise his mental health.
Because i was treated fairly and nicely
For info. I have ticked 'A neurodevelopmental condition (e.g. ADHD, autism)' as I have been referred for an ADHD assessment by your colleague, this is not diagnosed at present and is pending financial approval for assessment.
Your colleague was very helpful, listened to my frustrations and offered many practical ways to help me with my life management struggles. I found your colleague very approachable, respectful and empathetic to my issues.
James had the clarity and immense experience to be able to calmly, appropriately, confidently and compassionately treat me. From when I was at my lowest point through to feeling like I am at the beginning of a stable future again, James was able to gently check in, introduce new medication, review and finally discharge me from his care today. I have had contact with mental health professionals for over 20 years, and have never felt as understood or “heard” as James’ care made me feel. He is a true asset to the Wakering team.
i realise that while i have tried to ignore my condition, the evidence has been there for many years.
Hoping it is not a long standing condition
Mixed anxiety and depression (diagnosed by this service)
I was made to feel very comfortable during my initial assessment and the follow up service I have received has been extremely supportive. Thank you
I had a really good experience with this service and was dealt with, with kindness and compassion. I was listened to sympathetically and given the treatment I needed swiftly
I like to give feedback, as i am sure you would get complaints, but hardly ever get good reviews. I was treated with the upmost respect and kindness, the communication was excellent, Adult SLT always rang, and zoom called when appointments made, they never let me down
