Sharon was so lovely and I was made to feel completely comfortable and left feeling listened to, happy and hopeful.
Total respect was given to me plus my thoughts and feelings were listened to and taken on board
The podiatrist put me first for the entire course of my treatment needed
I received treatment which was consistently wonderful throughout a 1 year-span. I was treated with respect, dignity, compassion, warmth, kindness, consideration, empathy and all the goodness any patient would appreciate in a caring team. Whenever I had a concern I was listened to and it was addressed immediately. I am more than satisfied with the treatment I was rendered by this awesome team.
In a discussion with my doctor ( Dr. Guyler) about my mental health, I mentioned a number of issues that are factors contributing to my mental health issues. She advised that someone would be in touch to help with these issues. I received a call within a couple of days from Sharon Jones (EPUT SEE Southend PCN). Sharon was very understanding and recommended a number of groups she could refer me to who could provide support. These included, Carers UK (carers assessment), Enable East (employment support), and Trust Links (mental health support). Carers UK(Hayley) and Enable East (Megan) have both been in touch and also been very helpful and supportive. Sharon contacted me to advise Trust Links has a backlog due to the pandemic, but they would be in touch. She also gave me suggested a grounding technique to help me manage my anxiety and panic attacks. I found her, and all the people named here, as amazingly supportive and proactive. To be honest, I am surprised and delighted that this quality of support is available - thankyou to Sharon and all!
All aspects of the cares, therapists etc were excellent.
Alex was helpful and nice and talked about things clearly that could help me. She arranged for me to have a contact with autism service and they called us and I’m going to try a practical coping skills group in April.
The consultation was icw my recent medication for depression..I was struggling with the tablet sertraline 50 which I took for 3 weeks and decided to stop taking them. I felt a lot better within myself but wasn’t sleeping well. Tina got the pharmacy person to phone and after discussions I felt better about my decision to stop the medication.
Most people we have seen have been very helpful.
I found Alex extremely friendly and helpful, she was pleasent to speak with and I felt comfortable talking to her. I feel this is a great service compared to what I have experienced before and would highly recommend to others.
I always get excellent professional care at the clinic. It is well organised and an efficient service always mindful of my total care.
They are very mindful of the need for dressings or indeed occasionally antibiotics when the wound is infected and contact my doctors when necessary. They have managed to refer me to the vascular team and tomorrow I have a scan to determine future treatment.I have always been treated with respect and dignity and benefit from the highly professional team that I see.
