Sharon is a great person and has helped me so much I’m very grateful for her help and support.
I felt listened to
I've been in and out of the GP in Derbyshire and I've never been taken that seriously or had a variety of options to explore for help. Here I was referred straight away and was treated with respect and I was able to get help and I've improved so much because of it. Thank you.
It’s fine
The two mental health nurses treated me so kindly and made me feel comfortable speaking about really difficult topics.
I have none of these conditions.
Senior nurse was kind, re-assuring and helpful. Excellent service. response was prompt and after care amazing.
I am parent of young person first episode Psychosis.
It took a while for my son to engage and trust the service .The stigma of Psychosis, being of mixed hetitage, a story of poor support elsewhere made trust hard to build.Amy stuck with him, worked with the family and jept in close touch with his consent to secure his trust, met him and engaged in ways that worked for him.She was caring, diligent and gave him a sense that recovery and a good life is possible. He tells me she is genuine and real and kind. There is a long way to go to bring access and person centred mental health services up to this standard.I shall remain ever grateful to Amy. You are a super star.
