The health visitors in our area have always been excellent, however I am most concerned that the service is becoming more and more depleted. Clinics have been cancelled in our local GP service and I worry about the impact this will have, particularly for families that don’t have a car. Please keep our services at the level we can be proud of and which will serve the local communities well.

My appointment was with a very understanding Parkinsons nurse (the same one I saw at my previous appointment a year earlier) at The Poplars, a lovely, quiet country location near Epsom. My appointment was on time, not rushed in any way and gave me much opportunity to review and discuss all aspects of my current symptoms and medication. I value this additional appointment greatly to that with the consultant, as I find it a much more relaxing atmosphere in which to talk openly. The nurse finished by re-iterating that, should I become worried about any aspects of my parkinsons, she is available to contact at any time (within reason!) which is very reassuring. All in all, an excellent service that I cannot fault

Staff are friendly and helpful in all areas. The food is of a high standard with plenty of variety and served hot! The staff are more than willing to have a joke with those patients that appreciate it but not at any time is their behavior inappropriate. Maybe occasional delay in responding to buzzer calls and probably for very valid reasons.

The care I received was exceptional kind, reassuring, compassionate, respectful, together with professional. The cleaning was outstanding. Everywhere was spotless. My stay on Runmore ward has been an absolutely joy and I am sure has lead to my recovery and regaining my confidence and ability.

My physio treatment was exceptional and the care and also the nurses were very caring also physiotherapists and occupational therapists too were wonderful and made me feel everything was possible at the gym. My stay has been made less painful because of the caring attitude of the staff.
