From when we entered the building and spoke to reception we were treated with such politeness & care, taken to the lift & had the floor number explained. Once on the Cardiac reception everyone polite & was offered tea or coffee. The nurse took me through for an ECG and height, weight & BP taken and was delightful. Jonathon Byrnes then treated me with great respect and explained all the tests I had done and the results. I could not have had better treatment and felt like Royalty.

Dinesh Nathwani conducted the initial investigation of my right ankle and uncovered I have arthritis. He referred me to Nadeem Mushtaq.
I saw Nadeem on Friday, the 5th of November. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Nadeem discussed the treatment options using a person-centred approach, which I appreciated. And Nadeem explained his recommendations, including the risks, clearly whilst providing extra reading material, so I could also conduct my research about ankle fusions, as this is likely to be a procedure I will have in the future (hopefully years away!). Nadeem also explained the next steps for the surgical procedure we agreed upon.

I don't usually fill these out but I was so impressed. Specifically the phlebotomists at Portland Place. There was one from Lagos and she was INCREDIBLE. I've never had such a supportive and kind nurse (I have a needle phobia). Really fantastic institution all around.
