All the staff were very friendly and seemed to be very happy in their work. They were polite and cheerful and contributed to a very relaxed atmosphere.
Because it was professionally run with caring and understanding staff.
Told to come
In for 6.30am, I had to confirm twice as I was staying in over night and was told
I was last on the list. Arrived at 10am having fasted and was told my operation was at 4.30pm. I feel the admin staff could have called me to let me know. I had to fight for a room from 10am and was extremely unhappy. I ended up fasting for more than 24 hrs for my surgery.
Spent the whole day waiting from 10am to 4.30pm.
On my discharge I had to wait 25 mins for a porter to take me down. My nurse tried but organisation was so poor. Was going to end up walking myself out.
Excellent level of care and when I really needed it outstanding!
The staff were efficient, when you pressed the button they were there within 20 seconds, they kept me informed all the time. The were all most pleasant, smiling, caring, couldn't have wished for better care, it was top! Marvellous medical staff both on 5th floor & in the operating theatre & of course my excellent Consultant Ian Webb. Very thankfull to them all.
With one exception the staff I met were extremely kind and helpful and even the food was unusually good.
I thought that the care that I received at the Cleveland Clinic was exceptional and could not have been improved.
My stay here has been absolutely wonderful. The care, communication and respect of all staff from receptionists, cleaners, caterers to physio/medical staff has been exemplary.
I have been given care of the highest standard and the catering is superb offering a wide range of delicious, nutritious meals and equally wide range of drinks and beverages.
A very good experience at the clinic, but slightly disappointing after care, see below.
