Kind, efficient staff with exemption of man in charge at night. More help would have been welcomed for patients wanting toilet in night - many were left too long.
Nice ward. Friendly staff.
Very attentive, kept informed about procedure. No obvious negatives.
Could not be improved. Extremely well looked after.
Must say all the staff from orthopaedics reception upto theatre were so kind and helpful, special mention to Ryan in preparation theatre to Lovely Amanda and Claire who held my hand. Even Mr Holt was cheerful.x
Made what was to me a scary procedure, a cortisone injection, not so scary.
Thank you to all involved.
Doctors and nursing staff were caring and on the whole very helpful ( bank staff not so good)
However, I thought the nursing staff were under a great strain given the percentage of patients with dementia. These patients took up valuable time which could have been devoted to their nursing care instead. Also night times were diffult for other patients.
I noticed a couple of patients who were in this category, but the relatives were dealt with very firmly I am pleased to say. Too many visitors were allowed per bed, which I felt agitated elderly patients.
The food was mediocre at best.
Having said all this, I am so grateful to have been looked after well and by such wonderful staff.
Everyone was extremely considerate.
Perfect.
Understanding staff.
