Doctors and nursing staff were caring and on the whole very helpful ( bank staff not so good) However, I thought the nursing staff were under a great strain given the percentage of patients with dementia. These patients took up valuable time which could have been devoted to their nursing care instead. Also night times were diffult for other patients. I noticed a couple of patients who were in this category, but the relatives were dealt with very firmly I am pleased to say. Too many visitors were allowed per bed, which I felt agitated elderly patients. The food was mediocre at best. Having said all this, I am so grateful to have been looked after well and by such wonderful staff.
