All the nursing staff and kitchen staff were fantastic and had given me fantastic care and were supportive when I needed it

Suggested improvements
  • The area that I feel needs attention or improvement is the cleaner because I do not feel that my room was not cleaned to a high standard like the previous cleaner had done so I was disappointed in that regard

The most empathetic decent staff I've ever had the fortune of meeting. Thank you! Dune examples: 23 June '26 Magda (Romanian nurse), attentive and noted my struggle with bed length. So waited for an extension to my bed to become available and just came and extended it. I never asked! Just observant, attentive and super friendly and helpful! Bryony clinical psychologist - empathetic and helpful, just administering cognative function and memory testing, but shattered many questions and was an attentive ear, for arguably a conversation that had nothing to do with her tests, but everything to do with my feelings that day, but also my experiences leading me to Chalfont 24 June '26 After feeling aura after breakfast, sleepless couple of heat induced nights, I told staff I was feeling off. Dr Rolan (SHO) came to see me. He asked me key questions, did a neurology basic diagnosis finger to nose, (made me feel at ease like I'm in safe hands), then contacted colleagues and Dr Rugg-Gunn. They initiated administering clobezam 10mg , the empathy and the treatment first class !

Staff friendly and attentive rooms tidy and clean I think beds could be changed more often and potentially things like loo roles checked etc - but I wasnt resident long

Suggested improvements
  • Not much - I think it’s overall a very good experience - U think a working wifi with internet would be helpful for patients in for 1-2 weeks And I didn’t know there was a common room and pool table until my last day so perhaps a walk round when checked in would help find bearings Otherwise I was very impressed
