It was my first time getting my bloods taken yesterday and I was extremely nervous. I was very optimistic about if I was going to get them done as Im scared of needles but the lady I had answered all my questions and gave me a lot of reassurance. (She even took me into a better room with a bed option).I ended up getting the time and support of another nurse who gave me the distraction method and held my hand. I really appreciate this clinic I think the ladies are amazing and so patient .

As an individual with anxiety, the environment within the appointment was very welcoming and informative.

I was asked if I could go into the room alone to answer personal questions. Due to anxiety, I said yes although I wanted to say no.

Went in for a coil but my periods have changed recently and they've been worryling heavy so the doctor suggested I get things checked out before I got it fitted. They booked me a pelvic scan, did a cervix check on the spot, took a swab for Sti and did a pregnancy test. They are also chasing up my smear test, offered me some condoms and gave me a prescription for a contraceptive pill for the time being and I was only in there for 25 mins and they did all that. Everything was explained and I just think they went above and beyond, they couldn't of done any more for me. All the staff including the reception team were brilliant.
