Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital

My father was an in-patient and was frightened, ignored and rang me to collect him.He had been transferred from St.Richards . The staff were rude and unhelpful and made little attempt to help him . He finally came home with the biggest bed sore on his bottom 5 inches by 4 due to their lack of turning him . When he left St.Richards who were amazing he had no sore at all . I will never forget his face when I arrived after his call. His words were I Cant do this anymore I want to go home. For elderly respite I would not recommend .

I was seen my Mark Jones for the 2nd time for cartlidge damage to my knee, i was told by him that there us nothing he can do for me, I just need to loose weight, exercise and wear sensible footwear, 1st I was within the green area in the weight chart 2nd was given no exercise to do apart from work on strengthening my knee but don't do weights, nothing said about making sure I have low impact exercise 3rd I suffer with eating disorder and weight myself before every meal to see if I can eat or if my weight has gone up I miss that meal so his comment I'm overweight while still I the green section of the graph has really had a major impact on me

I have been here for a few things over recent years as I have been seriously ill. This hospital has supported giving me confidence and there has never been a minute of any doubt or trust Thank you t everyone.

Really didn't have to wait long (15mins from walk in to minor injuries) went in to be assessed by a friendly doctor who explained things clearly. Then after another 10 mind then got wheeled to have an x-ray by a very friendly young man, who put me at ease. Whole experience was quick and quality service. Many thanks to the staff at the bognor hospital on 02/12/15.

I spent 3 weeks of 4 days in BWMH. The cleanliness was outstanding, the professionalism of the senior staff was outstanding. The attention of physios and Hydrotheraphy staff was excellent . Meals were nicely served. Full information was given to my wife. The only improvement that I would like to see is to the ambulance transport, timings etc but I know that this would be almost impossible giving the number of elderly patients who need this service. I found the ambulance drivers very helpful.

very friendly and helpful staff both administration and medical staff. only hick up was the X-Ray machine being broken down but the staff in the department were very polite and helpful in difficult circumstances.

Spent 2 weeks rehabilitation on Lane/Bray under Sister Walsh and her amazing team of caring and dedicated nurses. Sometimes it was easy to forget you were in a hospital. I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. I can't thank everyone enough and that included both nursing staff but also the amazing Physio Becky Sutton and her wonderful assistant Pat Riley. Huge thanks for the kindness shown by Bill, always smiling. I would recommend the Rheumatology clinic to anyone needing first class treatment. (Denise Crunden)
