Not enough staff. Need more HCA's - they are amazing people but there needs to be more of them.

HCA's on bay ward are excellent - some nurses are as well-Lynn N and Lovejoy are amazing . They care and they really listen.
I don't understand how you will achieve 'great' care when you keep staff levels to a real low or minimum.

Thank you for your feedback which we take very seriously. We have looked at our staffing levels on our inpatient wards and are satisfied that we can provide care in a safe way. However, we have had to rely recently on an unusual number of temporary staff which, we realise, does not always provide the continuity and quality of care that patients expect. We are actively recruiting more permanent staff and, wherever possible, using the same temporary staff so they get to know patients. We are also training the temporary staff so that they can better support regular staff with activities both within and outside the hospital. We will be closely monitoring feedback.

I dont like anything about this place, they just drug you up on pills all the time.

I cant really comment.
Unfortunately what the night staff write and what the day staff do are rather know in advance what is happening the next day it is called team work organisation.
This ward is chaos due to Christmas and short staff.
