I was treated with kindness and care and the doctor was brilliant insisting I go to A&E when I wanted to go home he was correct as I was in a serious condition with infection and was later diagnosed as prostate cancer , I am now under the care of the hospital and the news is good , thank you to all who cared for me Ronnie

My 1 week old baby had an infected umbilical cord, I called 111 after the GP didn’t see us through the day and was advised to be seen within 6 hours by the OOH GP. I was called back and seen quickly in the early hours of 16/12/23. Both the receptionist and the GP was lovely and really listened to both mine and my partners concerns. I couldn’t fault the out of hours service at Queen Victoria Hospital and the staff that we met that night. Thank you so much

I was able to avoid attending Emergency Department. My medication was sorted by on call GP.

I felt as though I was not taken seriously

I only wish my own GP practice had such caring and thorough Doctors. They understood Myalgic Encephalopathy and how it affects other conditions. . Very comforting and uplifting for future generations going forward
