I found the receptionists to be very unhelpful.drip feeding me information on how to book an appointment resulting in a three week frustrating wait whilst in pain. They were not interested when I complained about the service & the inconvenience it had caused me.
Just joined surgery very impressed
I am the daughter of one of your patients. She has recently had a hard time emotionally and physically. She has been under the care of Dr Maria (sorry don't know her surname). I have been a nurse working for the NHS for many years and would just like to comment on the fantastic care Dr Maria has given my mother. This doctor is a credit to the NHS and should be praised for her care and compassion not only for my mother but her time and understanding to my family when we have visited with my mother.
Congratulations to her for being a brilliant doctor.
The one real problem is the self check in screen. Its not user friendly. Patients moan about it and the receptionists moan about patients not using it. Its either a case it is only running on a 10Mb switch port when it should be on a 100Mb switch port, the software or PC its running on is too slow or the make up of the touch screen is very poor. You see people having to thump it for it to respond. Its the first interface you meet at the surgery so it should give a welcoming feeling, it gives the totally opposite impression. Its one area where money could be spent to upgrade the system.
Since Dr Naseef took over the surgery has improved leaps and bounds. The doctors all have great "bed side manners" soeak good English and put over their diagnosis clearly and in away it is easy to understand.
Sort out that screen and we are on the way to having a great Surgery
Everything about this practice is great and the doctors, nurses and all staff are very helpful. However, getting an appointment with a GP is not that easy!
