Appointment 12.06.2024 . At first had difficulty trying to get a telephone appointment as none were available till July . . A face to face appointment became available as there was a cancellation. [name removed] [name removed] was professional, empathetic and approachable. This was in complete contrast to my telephone appointment with Dr [name removed] who never even asked how I was after back surgery and a heart attack. His parting comment was “he had a full work load “” I will so so more about his lack of empathy and kindness.

When I tried to make a follow up appointment the first available one was 6 weeks away

Earlier available appointments. Not everything is “urgent” for that day but equally I don’t want to be waiting 6 weekxx so for an appointment

Receptionist was friendly& helpful (I had to fill in an application to re new my medical exemption card). Dr [name removed] was very friendly; she was very easy to talk to and took my concerns seriously. Her professional approach was reassuring; thank you!

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
