For flu jabs I just phoned the surgery in advance for both of us @ Helme Chase, it was straight forward when we got there, no problems & in & out within a few minutes For my covid jab I phoned 119 & got an appointment @ Maude Street a couple of days later, again well organised & only took a few minutes

I know things are difficult at the moment. Some daily appointments are available but if you do not ring at 08:00 hrs you are held in a large queue and miss a slot for that day. When contacted by patient access had to wait two weeks for an appointment.

On appointments why not split daily access to 08:00 and 12:00 hrs so people have more chance at getting an appointment.

I appreciate how busy you all are but it's not so easy by phone as you are kept in a queue. Easier at reception I would suspect. One cannot always wait in line to be answered which means keeping trying. Overall I haven't found it too bad because I'm retired and probably have more time.

I'm not in a position to say because I don't know the workload of the staff. I suspect busy most of the time. I will say that I have always been treated with respect and on the whole I don't have any complaints.
