Short notice appointment of a visit to a practice nurse to have knee replacement dressing removed and checked. Forgot to phone in advance for an appointment on 9/7/24 but got one on 10/7/24.
Suggested improvements
An appointment at Burton Road rather than Maude Street. But no essential as I did have transport but parking not as good.

I needed an urgent blood test and was lucky to get in as there was a cancellation.

I have strong feelings that my cancer has returned

I was lucky to get an appointment for an important appointment for a blood test the following morning.
The doctor has done an urgent referral to see a urologist for me. I just hope that I don’t have to wait too long.

It would be easier to get in to the Bank of England vault than it would be to get a doctors appointment

Whilst I was there, nothing, but to book a doctors appointment, everything. It just seems that you are no longer a general practice and all you are interested in is getting your figures good

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
