Appointment was easy to make and was within the expected timeframe. Easy to sign in for the appointment and being new to the surgery the receptionist was helpful. Consultation was very good and informative. Very satisfied.

Would be better if for older asthma sufferers ie long standing I could get an emergency supply of steroids and AB’s on repeat prescription then I wouldn’t need to take up dr and surgery time

Cleanliness marked down following a repair to the waiting area ceiling and appointments marked down as the online system is currently not in operation otherwise all would have been five stars.
Suggested improvements
The problems pointed out above were not the fault of the practice so no, nothing could have been done better.

Phoned 8am for advice and was told Dr [name removed] would be able to phone back. I was even given choice of time. Within minutes of eventually speaking with him he said he wanted to see me straightaway.
My worrying and excruciatingly painful condition was diagnosed and appropriate medication prescribed. Get back to him if not completely healed by four weeks.
I could not have wished for any better treatment.

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
