This is more of a delay now than there used to be.
If it's a potentially serious problem then usually the appointment is quicker.

Can be a long wait to get through by phone and have to give up sometimes.

Phoned one day and received appointment for blood test the following day. Very impressed.

Easy self check in, spacious waiting area not busy.
Tv screen to watch for information.
Timely appointment, with [name removed] for my CDM1 review.
Lovely cheerful conversation, making the experience comfortable.
All details explained well.
Suggested improvements
Could the tv make a sound when patients need to go in? I had to ask a gentleman if that was him when I realised he wasn’t watching the screen.

The Dr was professional & provided opportunity to discuss my health concerns fully. Follow up tests were agreed. [name removed] made a follow up enquiry with a colleague & then fed back the outcome to me.

All good in the appointment .I would have appreciated being given the ‘ correct’ sample bottle as I selected the wrong one & now have to repeat the urine test!

We take pride in offering the highest standard of patient centred healthcare for the community of Kendal and the surrounding areas. Operating across 2 sites, we are the largest General Practice in the South Lakes area and offer a range of services at both. We offer some evening and weekend appointments.
We understand the importance of listening to our patients, and reflecting on feedback so that we can make improvements if necessary. Its also great to hear when we're making a positive difference!
