During this experience Dr [name removed] has kept me updated via text messages to do with my test results and next steps. I was able to arrange an appointment easily by using the online form.

Suggested improvements
At the start of this experience, the receptionist misunderstood the seriousness of my illness and instead of arranging an appointment with a GP, put me on the pharmacy pathway. I had already told the receptionist I had blood in my urine and I was unwell with a fever. When I explained this to the pharmacist she sent me to, the pharmacist returned the referral saying it needed medical input as the pharmacist could only treat cystitis, and my illness had progressed far past this. So this wasted valuable time in getting me in front of a doctor.
