There is a long delay if you need to see a specific medical practitioner for the sake of continuity.

I have been suffering from 2 different ailments through my immunocompromised medical situation, fungal and viral, viral is under control yet fungal infection has had a virtual easy ride and I have only just been given a proper course of anti fungal medication to combat this unpleasant affliction, I was told perhaps, that I was reading too much into this ailment, so, what should I do, ignore the problems and hope that they get better, they won't or, as I have done, keep plugging until someone acknowledges that there is a problem which needs treatment. I have had a mouth infection for over 4 years which has not improved and, as yet, undiagnosed, in that time I have had fungal infections of the, scalp, feet, groin, skin and nails, yet mouth problems are apparently nothing to do with a fungal infection. I have no doubt that if my course of anti fungal tablets cure my mouth sores and thick mucus, which now extends to the throat and affects swallowing, it will be put down to "coincidence." Personally, I don't care, as to be rid of this fungal overgrowth will be all positive, so my thanks for this anti fungal course couldn't be more well placed.
