I went in with a lump in my stomach and diagnosis not clear. Guess work. Possibly a hernia. Referring to a surgeon but could take up to a year? Maybe more? No scans arranged for checking what it is. Just told to go to the emergency room if it gets worse? I’m left anxious and worried at what it is with me being a single mum of two small children and no support network should things go wrong with me. I will have to make another appointment to get a second opinion as I’m not happy with what to do. My job is a fitness instructor and an home carer and I was told to not join in with classes ? this is impossible ling term. If I lose my job I’ll lose my Morgage if my health deteriorates. I’m under the spinal specialist who says I must exercise regularly to strengthen my core to help my back pain. How can I do this now. Also I have a 3 and 5 year old. This is detrimental to my livelihood to support my kids and keep my house.

Suggested improvements
Arrange scans to determine what the lump is so I know for sure
