Really disappointed I made appointment on Monday for blood test for husband [name removed] and myself . Arrived slightly early apparently my husband hadn’t been booked in . [name removed] explained that I said I was worried abou my husband sugar levels she said she would ask the nurse or whoever s, she said it was ok . On being called in we found the nursing assistant quite rude and abrupt and said we were going to make her run late . I explained the so nicely and that the receptionist had made a mistake and she had asked it was ok . She replied that she hadn’t been asked . So I was quite abrupt her and told her the fault wasn’t ours but the surgery . She did the bloods quickly and efficiently and her manner was nice and it didn’t take long at all . My husband is disabled and suffers from anxiety so this experience was quite distressing and made him angry .He didn’t say anything because he would have been really rude . We remained courteous and pleasant with the nurse because reaction wouldn’t have achieved anything . So disappointing mistakes happen and I appreciate that but the attitude of the nurse was in my opinion not acceptable

Suggested improvements
Usually my review on James Cochrane are excellent apart from the appointment system which is nationwide problem .
