I had no problem getting a face to face appointment but had to wait 3 weeks and 3 days to get one. I had never met the doctor before but he was polite, listened to me and chatted, he did not rush the appointment. I required a blood test and in the past I have had to wait to organise this, the Dr did this straight away which really impressed me.
