The appointment system has always worked very well for me. I have been able to see a doctor, normally of my choice, on the day I sought it. One hears very different stories of patients experiences elsewhere in the UK.
I recently required a referral and the surgery did some research for me, then contacted me within 24 hours to advise me who to go to.

All staff helpful, polite and responsive, despite working under considerable pressure. Welcoming and discreet receptionists and health professionals are responsive and good listeners.

I have had no problem in getting a same day appointment but there was a 2 week wait to get a follow up appointment with a named doctor.

This surgery is excellent and all members of staff are courteous and polite.
Appointments are on time and any referrals are done quickly and effectively.
