I cannot express the absolute indifference I've been treated with by the doctors at this practice. In fact I can no longer be bothered. I praise your front line staff who treat us with sympathy and humanity. You are an appalling practice. I and your wonderful administration staff do your job and cover your asses. I'm swapping practices as you don't even have my correct medical history after 10 years. You don't know what prescriptions I've picked up. What I've taken or have details of my hospital appointments. I had to track down my district nurse with Facebook. No words.

The reception desk needs to be regularly manned as most of the time there is no one there. When I say "manned" that is exactly what I mean. Men would not be chatting to each other about unrelated trivialities whilst they are doing their job and people are standing in front of them waiting (ie when they do put in an appearance.) Several people have commented on this fact in my hearing so this is not just my sole opinion. There have been several problems recently in obtaining part of my repeat prescription. Last month Boots at the Stag had to provide me with my Venlafaxine in 2 stages because of the unavailability of this product from the supplier. This time they could give me 2 days supply of this and said I needed to contact the surgery.I did so and was met with patronising sarcasm and downright lies by a member of the the reception staff. If you replay the phone call you will find that this is the truth.

It is difficult to get appointments at this practice - urgent appointments included. There is little continuity of care in that patients are frequently seen by different doctors each time. On two occasions in the last few years a close family member has been misdiagnosed which has resulted in hospital admission and delayed treatment. Medication has been prescribed which has been inappropriate to the condition and if taken could have potentially been dangerous. Very disappointed indeed.
