Has been shocking service since Covid pandemic and they appear to put every effort into ensuring you can’t access a Doctor. They won’t even book you a routine appointment at any time in the future and you can only phone on the day. They even tell you that you probably won’t even get through on the phone. Shambolic surgery.
I needed a doctor signed form to apply for grant aid. I have two medical conditions that qualify. It took me about 20 days to get the form. The form (fee paid of course) was not dated and only one of my medical conditions was entered on the form. The administration of this practice is poor and really needs reorganising.
Every time I phone to get a routine appointment, I could be first or second in the queue but still have to wait an hour to get through. Then I'm told that I have to ring again in the morning for a routine appointment as they only release a few a day. It's ridiculous. No good for people who have to work.
Totally incompetent reception. After calling for an hour I got a reply . Was told my issue would be forwarded to a doctor, and I would recieve a call back. After phoning the surgery again, I have now been told the doctor needs to talk to me. Please ring for another appointment on Monday. Then wait another hour before telling another incompetent member of staff why I'm calling. And why is it the receptionist needs to know the whole reason why you need to speak to a doctor. Rant over for now. Watch this space.
Doctors are helpful on the whole and most listen and take patients seriously. The downfall is one member of staff on reception who let's the whole place down. She is abrupt, hangs up on phone calls and sarcastically mocks vulnerable people calling in
Can't understand why she's still there.
