On the whole it's straightforward to get appointments but not always with the Dr you prefer. Telephone consultations are very good and sometimes all you need is reassurance from a doctor. I've found most receptionists very helpful and sometimes very understanding when trying to see a particular Dr. I find the 'one thing wrong with you and 10 minute consultation' quite stressful as I did today. Like many people I don't want to waste the Drs time but Ieft today's appointment feeling that I had.
