I was extremely pleased and impressed that I was offered an appointment so quickly.
The communication using system online worked really well.
So a big Thank you for that.
Suggested improvements
Unfortunately, when I arrived there was a patient having trouble booking an appointment. They were very unhappy and named a member of staff as being “the problem “. This made me uncomfortable and felt sorry for the receptionist who was clearly doing her best.
I then waited half an hour before I was seen.
In that time a good many patients came in complaining of lost letters , bad communication and upset how long they would have to wait for an appointment.
The general appearance of the surgery is very poor , nothing about it feels good and actually made me feel uneasy.
The nurses were concerned about equipment not working properly.
The room I was seen in felt like a broom cupboard and not a safe , clean clinical environment.
The nurses were friendly and competent but clearly working under stress .
I hope things change there.
