I am very happy with my GP Dr. Liz Fisher, I have been a patient of hers for many years & have a long term heart condition, & as she is the cardiology specialist that is a definite bonus. All the other staff are also very polite & helpful.

I have always found the receptionists to be very caring and helpful. Sometimes takes time to get through on the phone but the online system of booking appointments avoids that.

I recently joined the surgery having just moved into the area. Great first impressions with the receptionists being extremely helpful. My registration was completed very swiftly with minimum fuss. I needed a prescription on the day of my registration that was important for my treatment and although the doctors were in an annual training session, my assigned Doctor made time to meet with me and write my prescription the very next morning. I have had some very disappointing experiences with GP's over the years with only one previous GP who I had felt confident with. With my first experience at Park Surgery I have been overwhelmingly surprised at the friendliness of the reception staff, the willingness to go that extra mile and the competence and genuine empathy I experienced with my doctor. Please don't join this GP service as I would prefer to keep this secret to myself ;)

It is very helpful to have the acute unit which one can attend on a daily basis, i.e. telephone and see a doctor on the same day.

I have nothing but admiration for this surgery. I find the staff very helpful and courteous and I have found the care that they offer excellent. Perhaps the only downside is that it can be quite a long wait to get an appointment with my own doctor. The other point I would like to make is that who ever is in charge of the general administration of the surgery does an excellent job.
