The friendliness of all staff is appreciated.
It was not clear to me whether I should us my smartphone in the waiting area. Perhaps the signage could give guidance.
As smartphones are expected to be developed to assist with health monitoring perhaps wi fi could be made available to patients as they wait. (Most people have smartphones and with wi fi they could access their emails apps etc.)
The reception desks are well run and efficient. Appointment times are well kept. Lovely surgery altogether. Great to be able to book online for appointments and medication.
Long wait for a blood test! Well done!
The doctors and staff that I have had contact with are all very pleasant and helpful. It can be difficult to get an appointment at times as they are very busy, but if its urgent they will always fit you in. My doctor is Dr. Nat, a very helpful and friendly man who greets you like an old friend, putting you at ease.
I am a frequent visitor to Park Surgery and have always found it to be welcoming and friendly. Getting appointments has never been a problem. Sometimes the wait for the phone to be answered can be several minutes but I have never had a problem getting through. There are always several receptionists on duty but some seem to be forever on the phone. This can be frustrating to someone waiting in the queue. Perhaps one or two receptionists could be allocated to the queue; maybe wouldn't move any quicker but it would relieve the frustration of reaching the counter to have the receptionist answer the phone.
The Receptionists have all been friendly and as helpful as they could be.
Sometimes it is difficult to get an appointment when it is short notice but they do their very best to fit you in. The same comments apply if I have phoned in.
