Needing an appointment on a Monday is difficult on the phone so my husband drove into Horsham specially to get me one. On a previous occasion when my husband needed an appointment we were 32nd in the queue so we gave up and I came down in person.
However my appointment with Dr. Sarah Slater (Salter?) nearly three weeks ago was very satisfactory and I had a further appointment at East Surrey Hospital three days later. I appreciated the fact that the request for the appointment with a consultant was faxed enabling a quick response.
I understand too that Park Surgery have facilities that other smaller surgeries do not have and this must be good for the patients.
World Class Practice in every way
101pc and and example of how good the NHS can be
Better appointment system as it's very stressful and frustrating trying to make an app at 8 am when there is often 27+ people waiting I. Front of you
A walk in surgery with a doctor and nurse on everyday would be helpful
So the rest of the clinic can function normally
Also weekends should be open and evenings so doctors can do shifts
Like so many of us do these days
Treated with great courtesy and skill by a Practice Nurse who administered combined Flu & Shingles vaccines and all within 10 minutes of my appointment time.
Doctors are all brilliant. Getting a last minute appointment is an absolute nightmare and the surgery is very clearly over stretched. I feel very sorry for the receptionists having to deal with this each day.
