It should be made easier to book an appointment within a day or two of one requesting one. Patients should be seen as close to the appointment time as is possible. Explanations of ones condition should be given whether requested by the patient or not. With respect not all older patients have dementia. Many are well educated in Biology. Continuity with one doctor during the course of the illness or treatment.
Trying to make an appointment on the day takes too long and often results in not being able to see the doctor of choice. Making a planned appointment on-line works well in most instances.
Ridiculous waiting time for appointments not to mention actually getting through to make appointment.
Dr Nat was very helpful and engaged well. I felt listened to and he was very supportive.
I have had two recent appointments. On both occasions i was on the telephone waiting for about 30 minutes which is too long.
