appointment was already made as a follow up. normally trying to get an appointment is easier in person at surgery trying to do so on the phone is a waste of time too long a waitnot having to make appointments
Because I rang at 8am and got thru quite quickly
Contacted on Monday morning to try and arrange an appointment and was told that none were available and told to ring 8am next morning,I asked why can you not put me in for tomorrow which seems logical told can't do that and could make me an appointment for the 1st Saturday in August which is quite disgusting as I was suffering with a chest infection, rang on Tuesday morning and was offered an appointment which I kept, the doctor said why did you not come sooner, the reason is people cannot get appointments when ringing only for that day which are usually already taken, lord alone knows how ill I would have been if I had decided to wait for the August appointment, surely false economy for NHS Please for the sake of your patients sort out your appointment system.
I haven’t been with the Surgery too long, however, the times I have been in touch either by telephone or text I have had quick responses! Therefore the Surgery gets a good review from me! Best regards SB
It is almost impossible to get an appointment at the surgery, at the moment it appears to be closed. I had a telephone appointment with the Diabetic nurse in February/ March, she said she was going on holiday and would be in touch in April to get me sorted with a arm blood test machine, I agreed to it and now we are nearly in August I am still waiting,,, not good.
