My last appointment was only to get a flu jab. This was easily managed by Sharon with humour and efficiency. My wife and I have always had good service from the Practice - the only thing that irks us is the triage system. It's cumbersome and ties up a practice nurse with an admin job instead of clinical tasks. It also means that we have to hang around waiting for the return phone call when we could be doing something else. Why can't we just make an appointment through the receptionist like we used to do?

Usually I (& my late husband) had very good service & I like that I can normally get an appointment the same day via your triage system. Your pharmacy is also very helpful & I hope I shall be able to go on collecting my medication there & do not have to go to another dispensary should one open on the Meonvale estate. ( I have added my name to a petition on this subject) Please note that I have put 13/10 for my last appointment below but it was a phone apt with Dr Fantom so it might have been the next day! No record.

Generally the overall service provided is excellent, however at a recent medication review I was asked for a urine sample to check my renal function. I explained that I receive dialysis 3 x per week (Should be on my records) and that part of my health is looked after by a Renal Consultant. Your nurse was adamant that I should provide a sample as it was a requirement! It may have been on the "form" but as the sample was presumably sent away for testing it does seem to be a waste of time and money when my condition is well documented. Also I was told that you do not have up to date records of my blood tests. These tests are taken monthly by Stratford Dialysis unit (under University Hospital Coventry) and also recorded on the "Patient View" database, which I understand you can access. I have provided you with a hard copy of the latest results, please let me know if I should continue to do so or whether you can access these online.
