The receptionists are caring considerate and have respect. I've seen most of the doctors and nurses at the practice all treated me with respect and care. I'm very grateful to Dr Heron and a nurse Liz-ann who kept a close eye on me whilst an ambulance was on route medical emergency within the surgery. I will be forever grateful for what was done for me that day and because I have a condition I'm prone to infection Dr Heron seen me the same day and prescribed antibiotics. Really am grateful to the surgery doctors and receptionist for all you do.
Please stay safe xx
I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing nurse yesterday in the surgery. She was absolutely incredible and so thorough when it came to my concerns. The receptionists are lovely and I think they have to deal with a lot on a daily basis. They get a lot of the frustration and anger. People forget theres been a huge pandemic and GP surgeries have had to deal with a lot. I'm incredibly thankful and appreciate everything they do.
The reception lady in gray hair and glasses treated me terribly. in 10 minutes of being late, she yelled at me for being late and for not having a mask. I am suffering from diabetes after the 12h night shift. such behavior is unacceptable even I couldn't get to the word.
This has got to be the worst surgery I've ever joined in my life !! Got to the point now that they're not even answering the phone !! Receptionists clearly need a welcome host refresh training course ... getting up off the chair is even a hardship to come to the desk for them. ! Something is clearly lacking in this surgery, sort it NHS.
When I joined the practice I noticed a sign that reads, "Your lack of planning does not constitute a crisis for me", I should have taken it as hint of the professionalism of the practice, as apparently their lack of competence doesn't either.
In the 6 months, I have had the wrong dose of diabetic medication dispensed on repeat prescription, twice.
They want you to use the patient access to order repeats, but don't keep the medication on there up to date. Not even close.
I have had an ear infection, that a doctor dismissed as tinnitus, and after numerous calls about the pain, I was able to beg someone to look at it, and do a swab, and bingo ear infection. That was over the course off over a month.
Today it was receptionists telling me something different from what they told me yesterday.
Doctor receptionists have a reputation of treating patients badly, but Love Street takes the biscuit.
