Because I didn’t have to wait long o. The phone and was given an appointment for the next day

It’s a really simple thing but the bell sounds announcing the patient’s name and which room to go to could be made louder.. I would suspect some 40-50% of the waiting patients were old and a good % of them with hearing issues and a louder bell would be very very welcome.

Mine was an administrative issue (caused by me, it must be said), and was going to cause me considerable diffculties if not resolved, possibly even with the NHS itself. Without a word of annoyance, everybody swung instantly into action, and my issue has been resolved, awaiting only the more distant parts of the bureaucracy to work their way through. I could not be more grateful

A follow up telephone call was made the day after I cancelled my original appointment.

The call back system worked well although it took over 30 minutes to work through the queue. The appointment was for a blood test. Had to wait well beyond the appointment time but only because the nurse took great care and consideration of her clients.

Move the surgery to somewhere patients can park or ask staff to park further away and free up the private parking area. Would putting pressure on the council to restore the free parking in the public car park encourage shop workers taking up the road outside, or ask the council to make it a 2 hour maximum parking road.

I've had no recent problems in arranging routine appointments with nurse. When contacting GP I think I've been able to talk with one in a reasonable time, but it's quite a long time since I did this.

Nothing comes to mind.
