The receptionist to seem to be

The receptionist is seem to be lacking medical knowledge and sometimes it’s embarrassing explaining to them what the problem is that you have and the reasons why you want to see the doctor. I think they should be only allowed to book appointments and let the doctor decide when they see them. you also feel a sense of urgency lack of empathy from their tone when you try and explain to them your agony and pain. I have to say the doctors in the surgery are all amazing perfect caring but unfortunately receptionist those who answered the phones perhaps need more training and knowledge and most importantly, empathy.
