I would prefer to see a better appointment system. For instance this morning I spent nearly 15 minutes on the telephone trying to make an appointment even before actually speaking to the receptionist. When asking for an appointment for a certain day we are told to ring up at 8 am in the morning, so there is always a long queue at that time.

I have always been able to get an appointment here. Everyone is highly professional. When I need to be seen urgently, I know I will be able to be seen. I would recommend this surgery!

My wife and myself, both nearing 80 years old, have always received excellent service from all the doctors nurses and other staff at this surgery. We admire the patience shown and the cheerful manner in which the service is provided. On a recent visit to have my ears "irrigated" which in old fashioned parlance is to have them syringed and washed out Beverley was so careful I hardly felt a thing. She even laughed at my inane jokes. Thanks for all the attention you have given us both.

Appointments could be more flexible ie I visited the surgery to make an appointment for my wife and was told sorry cannot make an appointment now you must phone in the morning. More use should be made of email to confirm appointments and to mail any blood test results. These results seem to be secrete and they will not even give me a print. When I mention email the reply is it's for patient confidentially. Funny how most other organisations are able to either use email or secure mail via their web site.
