It is very difficult to get an appointment. Very very long wait on the phone. It was better before the recent changes to triage

Was very confusing. Was told I did not have PCOS and the symptoms I was suffering from was normal for a teenage girl. Was told I didn’t have any raised normal levels- despite being told by a consultant and other GP that I did. However I was given prescribed painkillers.

To know my previous diagnosis, not to disregard my pain and the debilitating symptoms I suffer. To not disregard what other professionals have told me.

You have to be patient and wait a rather long time before it’s “your turn”.

If possible it’s better to talk to the same doctor if you need more than one call. Especially one you have been dealing with for the last 35yrs and knows you well.
