Access is the primary problem for all medical services. Too few staff too many patients total neglect by successive governments has brought our health services to its knees. Germany which I know well has a plentiful supply of medical staff with easier access to resources. It is impossible to cut taxes and at the same time improve services. Nothing is for nothing

Once access is gained staff do there level best to care for patients in primitive environments without up to date facilities and equipment. Access is essential we need more staff and we need to stop paying hospital doctors less than I pay my unqualified gardener per hour. It is totally unacceptable in what is supposed to be a wealthy country. As a beveridge baby wartime born I have seen all the ground breaking progress we made thrown away and it breaks my heart. Successive governments should be ashamed of themselves
