Nightmare when your feeling ill to have to hold on for ever or get told full up call later

Just before my appointment I did a Covid test and was positive, I tried to ring surgery but could not get through so turned up as had an ear ache. You need another line so I could just ask a question and would have known not to home in .

Was put on the triage list and told to expect a call later. That call never materialised. Only text message saying the call would now be the next day.

Don’t tell us we’re going to be called later that day. Only to find that call would be coming the following day. This isn’t the first time this has happened Another time when my mental health was poor and in distress I had text referring me elsewhere. All of this isn’t good enough.

I had an 8am appointment, at 8:25 I left after not being seen. I can see no reason to keep me waiting at all. I was the first appointment of the day. If they are not able to see people at 8am then the appointment shouldn’t start until 8:30. I feel that leaving me waiting is just unnecessary and rude. If I turned up 25 minutes late I’m sure I wouldn’t be be seen.

Set an appointment time that you can actually keep
