I think every surgery knows the answer to this question. Since Covid Dr’s seem opposed to seeing patients face to face, and prefer to do telephone triage, which is dangerous if you have a serious condition. The telephone system is a nightmare, you’re on hold forever and there are never any appointments left, and I’m not just talking on the day. It’s nearly weeks before you can get an appointment especially face to face, so patients then go to A&E, causing them issues. The whole situation is terrible both for GP’s and patients. God bless the NHS

Regarding my recent appointment top marks. Although this was made by the hospital. I did try calling before I had the appointment, but gave up as I was number 9 in the queue for ever and ever. Perhaps more receptionist's would help and definitely more GP appointment’s.
