I had to go through a number of hoops to get to see the doctor which seemed a waste of precious nhs time especially as I had been told by the specialist 2 years ago to go back to him if I became more concerned about the condition and I believe this is stated in my notes. 1:I had to explain to the receptionist why I wanted to see a GP 2:The GP texted me asking for a photo Deemed necessary to then receive a call from a GP to discuss 3:GP phoned and after a lengthy discussion felt I should have a face to face consultation 4:GP appointment made ( I had to chase for this appointment) Very considerate and charming GP discussed my concerns about condition and although was comfortable himself that condition was not worrying offered to refer me to allay my concerns

Direct referral to specialist who had already seen condition and although had not been concerned 2 years ago told me to go back to him if I felt it had changed and was becoming more worrying This is in my notes I have had a number of BCC removed and am probably best placed to say if lesion/ mark on my skin seems to be of concern Would have saved 2 doctor appointments

The people at Collington surgery have always been good with me. For which I am grateful.

Collington surgery have been absolutely amazing especially since having our baby , who’s now 1! When we’ve felt there’s something not right with him, we have phoned in the morning and had an appointment same day. Same goes for me and my partner, as over run as they are they still manage to accommodate everyone in the area. Thank you to everyone at the surgery, receptionists, doctors.. all of you! We are grateful x

It took a day to get an appointment as the service was always engaged. Once I got through everything went well. Thank you. My doctor was excellent and I felt he had time for me.

I think the only think to improve is the first contact. Getting through to speak to the receptionish

Due to staff shortages the triage list was closed when I initially tried to get an appointment so had to wait longer to see the GP. I was sent to a surgery different from my own which means I saw a different GP who doesn’t know me or my history.

I am six weeks post pregnancy. My appointment was about additional swelling in my hands and feet. At the end of my appointment the GP asked if I had started doing any post natal exercises to which I explained I had not as yet no. The GP said I should look up some exercises on the internet so that I could get ‘toned up’. I found this quite insulting, I am 6 weeks post pregnancy and spent two of those weeks in SCBU. I didn’t ask about exercise and was not there for my post natal check. It’s hard enough having a premature baby without being told it’s time to start loosing weight six weeks after his birth.
