My appointments are currently with the Nurse (Tracy) so I have not had to contact the Surgery.

I have had excellent care from Tracy and she has made my ongoing appointments. I have not seen a doctor.

Allen needed to have a visit from the doctor. Despite numerous emails detailing why he couldn’t attend the surgery the appointment still stood. When asked why he didn’t attend and given the reason it was then asked ‘If you can get to hospital why not the surgery?’ Simple! Transport, specialised transport. Allen is in no fit state to travel by taxi. Appalling attitude from the surgery and no acknowledgement of the problems.

Listen to your patients or their advocates. Both the home and myself related the problems and it was ignored. If there’s somewhere to elevate this please do so.

Too few doctors for some many patients

I recently moved to Bexhill, so had to change Doctors. I was extremely happy with my first experience of the practice. All staff were very helpful and supportive. I rang at 8am and expected I would have to wait. My call was answered immediately. The receptionist, Kelly, was very sympathetic and thorough. An initial call back with a primary practitioner and appointment was offered that afternoon at Collington surgery, although I'm primarily registered with Ninfield, I was sent to Collington surgery and went in within 5 minutes of arrival. I didn't feel hurried and Lee examined me throughly and listened to my concerns. I was able to collect my prescription antibiotics later that day from Sidley Pharmacy. Thank you. Great service.
